I was watching a BBC documentary and one of it's parts was about the stalked eye fly. In order for the male to attract the female it sets it's eyes apart very widely. The male with the widest pair of eyes wins the right to be with the female. If two males are with the exact same distance between their eyes, they fight. This ritual, David Attenborough (the narrator) called "gentlemanly". So I painted it, "The Gentlemanly Stalk Eyed Fly"
